For the interior design of the common areas and meeting rooms, the architect opted to cover the walls and ceilings with perforated stained oak panels to create a muted atmosphere and optimize acoustic comfort by "breaking" the sound reverberation of the space.
The perforation pattern - Ligne de vie (Lifeline) - represents slightly wavy and dotted lines. This unique graphic pattern is soothing while giving the panels excellent sound absorption performance.

On this project, the architect had to work around several challenges such as incorporating a videoconferencing solution, lighting compatible with a variety of scenarios, and acoustic comfort. The response to this last challenge revolves around three main factors: absorption to limit reverberation, reflection to improve speech intelligibility and emission of sound waves to ensure good sound distribution throughout the space. The Dérive model from the Tectonique 5.5 collection used on the ceiling was also used as wall cladding.
